Why do we like what we like?

we are selling my car for 850 dollars. It's under salvaganle and repairable cars. people come over thinking that it has liek a dent in it or it's fine but something small is wrong with it. I laugh.

So yesterday I was thinking. Why do we like certain things. Seriously why do we like certain foods, people, textures, smells, etc. I can't figure i out. I know it probably has something to do with your brain or your genes but beyond that. What makes me like apples but not peaches? Why do i like Bacon But hate ham? Why do I think some things are funny? Whats makes me attracted to someone as a friend or otherwise?

Do I choose? is it already implanted in my brain? I don;t get it. But for some reason I want to.

The "song" (it's actually spoken word) Self Evident is great. always skipped over it till last night. All about tough issues. a few quotes include:
