I'm not anti-Bush, I'm just pro-Kerry

Ok now don;t freak out and think i've gone political and am going to say that my way of thinking is right and yours is wrong but I do have an opinion and I am real happy with that. This is the first year I think any of us have (semi)educated opinions on the election. before this year i had no intrest whatso ever and didn't really care. if you are like me then it doesn;t matter who you like better it's just good that you took time to form your OWN opinion.

In no particular order these are reasons i agree with kerry. And yes i realize that my info isn't 100% accurate so lets not be nitpicky i have the general gist.

-The war- I know we can't just leave the war right now but i do feel that Kerry will try and get our allies back that bush lost through his super focused attempt to win the war. we need to get the war done and finished as soon as possible.
-Abortion- I feel that it should be a womans choice as to weather or not she has an abortion. I don't think that a man or those women who have never been faced with the issue of having a abortion will ever know what that desicion is like, myself included.
-education- from what i know kerry will help lower tuitiona nd education costs. for me personally i will be going to college in two years and without scholorships and financial help i probably couldn't afford it. i think everyone can use help in that area.
-gay marriage- well actually civil union cause kerry isn't even pro gay marriage. but anything is better than denying peoples rights because of one small aspect of there lives, come on isn't discrimination against the law?

this is anti-bush but i think it needs to be said. Bush believes in denying people's rights and imposing his beliefs on others. Yes, the majority of people are christian in this country but not everyone. Everyone has the right to freedom of religion and saying things are wrong because the bible says it is, is wrong to do. If that's the way people want to live their lives.. great, good for them, it's just that we need to remeber that not everyone thinks the same way. also i think that going to Iraq to find osama bin laden and other alqaeda memebers is a good thing but we don;t nessisaroly need to push our government styles on other people cause it works for us.

Even if Bush wins I wouldn;t be too upset. If you think about it the presidents, democratic or republican, do the same job. They both have to serve their country to the best of their ability. Things that these canidates "promise" to us as citizens will not take effect anytime soon, possibly not at all.

It's not something to fight about. I hate how it's getting people into these weird stupid based on one fact or belief debates that you hear people in school talking about. I mean I've heard people say they are for bush because kerry looks mean and bush is more appealing, now theres something to laugh at.
As katie said I hate how this is making people argue cause katie and i definatly did that today.

Oh and don's come into school acting like you are better than other people cause you like bush and bush won or you like kerry and kerry won cause that's rediculous. most of us didn't even vote so it doesn't matter.

Don't trip on my saopbox on the way out. and if you read all of this.. wow you have some time on your hands to read little, jenna's opinion.
