why am I so entralled with the olympics. I found myself watching it tonight for like 3 hours. I watched swimming and men's gymnastics. I was litterally cheering and on egde for some of the swimming races. I do have to say a few things about the gymnastics. Why is the landing such a big deal? How do you judge which is better, cause they all look so awesome and hard?
yeah so besides the olympics. I didn't do much today. My grandparents came over. They have a newly built condo in puta gourda and after the recent hurrican their not sure if it's still there. We think it is with maybe a little damage cause it was bulit within the last year so it had to meet the latest hurrican requirements but who knows. I was watching the news and there was a trailer park in the same city that was ripped to shreds. It was really sad.
I did go to midland with katie to free nimmer again. we got slurpees this time. we didn't get lost (major plus). we even had time to stop and try and pick up a cute little lost white kitten but it went into this huge mass of prickly bushes and we couldn't coax it out. Katie lent me her ashlee simpson cd to burn so i now am one of those super trendy girls who has it. but i promise no qouting it in my journal.
I was with my mom at k-mart as well and i was reading teen vouge or something like that. They had a section about "up and coming bands/artists". Tegan and sara were in it they were a 3 out of 4 on the up and coming "scale". That was pretty cool. they have a new cd coming out and i have listen to 4 songs. one of them is way different style but still good. I just hope i don't have to order it online for some obseen amount of money cause I am doubtfull best buy will have it.
